As an accomplished cybersecurity executive, Asen has over two decades of experience in information security, IT infrastructure, and risk management. Currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer at myPOS, he oversees security strategy and resilience.
Previously, he was Chief Information Officer and CISO at Qredo, where he led cybersecurity and IT governance for a blockchain-based financial platform.
At Qredo, he was responsible for IT, project management, information security, and resilience functions, delivering a full migration from a custom-made Raspberry Pi infrastructure to the cloud. Additionally, he led the creation of two separate data centers (DCs) with independent teams managing different parts of the product, significantly enhancing security and reducing the risk of compromise.

His tenure at Paysafe spanned nearly seven years, where he advanced from Head of Information Security to Vice President of Cybersecurity, overseeing security architecture, IAM, application protection, threat management, and the Security Operations Center (SOC). He played a key role in enhancing Paysafe’s security posture, ensuring compliance, and enabling secure digital transactions at scale.

He is passionate about aligning security with business objectives, enabling organizations to deliver secure, scalable solutions at speed in highly regulated industries, ensuring both agility and resilience in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
