AI is changing more than developer productivity. Teams can execute more, organizations are flattening, and expectations from Team Leaders are shifting.
But adding AI to the same workflows and decisions only makes the existing system faster.

Moran Zabatani is a Fractional CTO / VP R&D, advisor to founders and engineering executives, and engineering leadership mentor, with 25 years in technology and 15+ years leading R&D organizations.
She has led global and distributed organizations of up to 100 people across startups, mid-size companies and enterprise environments, including SAP, Natural Intelligence, Explorium, Fintastic, Conduit, 888 and Playtech, and is deeply involved in the Israeli engineering leadership ecosystem.
Her work has repeatedly focused on connecting technology, product and business: reshaping organizations as company needs changed, building deep domain understanding, improving operational efficiency and quality, and turning new technology capabilities into business opportunities. At Natural Intelligence, she led multiple organizational transformations and dramatically shortened time-to-market; at Explorium, she drove major FinOps, efficiency and quality improvements; and at Fintastic, she led R&D while bringing AI and deep-tech capabilities into the product.
Today, Moran works hands-on with companies as a Fractional CTO / VP R&D, helping teams bring AI-enabled products to real users and production scale across engineering, architecture, security and compliance. She also advises founders, CTOs and VP R&Ds, and mentors Team Leads, Directors and senior engineering leaders.
She is a Mamram graduate, holds a B.Sc. in Bioinformatics from Tel Aviv University, and co-leads an Israeli R&D management community of 300+ engineering leaders, from Team Leads to CTOs.
