BI Consultant Senior

Location: Spain, Portugal, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Romania (remote)

How you’ll make an impact:

• Prototype, design, develop, and publish Power BI reports;
• Develop Power BI data models and recommend best practices for report creation and visualizations;
• Translate business needs into technical specifications;
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather business requirements for analytics and reporting;
• Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to create data mart designs;
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and tune report performance;
• Implement security in reports and dashboards;
• Build and modify tables and views, and optimize SQL queries and indexes as needed;
• Implement security on developed dashboards in accordance with security and access requirements;
• Create technical documentation for the BI solution.

What makes you a great fit:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field;
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in reporting and dashboard development;
• 2+ years of reporting and analytics using Power BI;
• Excellent knowledge of M Query, DAX, data modeling, and RLS;
• Understanding of data warehouse, data lake, and ETL concepts;
• Mastery of SQL;
• Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and enterprise big data platforms;
• Hands-on experience delivering finance reporting and BI solutions for finance stakeholders;
• Advanced level of English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work in a global company with colleagues from many countries and cultures;
• Good communication and persuasion skills;
• Ability to lead conversations with both technical and business representatives;
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of an international project team.

Will be a plus:

• French language proficiency.
