Office Tech Talks is DEV.BG’s event series where we visit the offices of leading technology companies and bring the tech community together for practical talks, real-world engineering stories, Q&A, and networking.

The fifth edition of the series is DEV.BG @ Capital.com: Office Tech Talks and will take place at the Capital.com office in Sofia.

For this event, we will explore what it really takes to build enterprise AI products that people can trust — beyond the prototype and beyond the model itself. The first speaker, Sean Noonan, is joining us especially from London for the occasion.

The Hardest Part of Enterprise AI Is No Longer the AI

Thanks to modern foundation models, building an AI prototype has never been easier. Building an AI product that employees or customers can actually trust is another story.

This talk explores the hidden work behind successful enterprise AI systems: transforming messy organisational data into usable knowledge, connecting AI to business tools, enforcing governance and security, evaluating quality at scale, and operating these systems in production.

Through lessons learned from building enterprise AI assistants, we will see why the real challenge is no longer the model itself — it is everything around it.

Astro and the Return of the Server

Why is Astro fast, why does it feel different, and why is it gaining ground?
For years, web development kept pushing more into the browser. Astro takes the opposite bet: render to HTML by default and send JavaScript only to the parts of the page that need it.
This talk is a peek behind the curtain at the ideas that make that work – islands of interactivity, doing the rendering before it reaches the browser, a framework that stays library agnostic, and the bigger shift it belongs to: the web quietly rediscovering the server.
