Principal Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture and technical design.

• Design microservices architectures using Domain Driven Design (DDD).

• Define integration strategies across APIs, messaging, and event-driven systems.

• Drive cloud-native solutions, modernization, and technology best practices.

• Ensure scalability, security, resilience, and performance.

• Collaborate with engineering teams, product leaders, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role.

• Strong expertise in microservices and DDD, including domain modelling and service decomposition.

• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, API gateways, messaging, and event streaming (e.g. Kafka).

• Solid backend development background in Java, .NET, or a comparable technology.

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and cloud-native technologies.

• Strong understanding of data architecture, distributed systems, and the full software delivery lifecycle.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Angular or React.

• Background in cloud transformation or regulated industries.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

• Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or Azure/AWS Solutions Architect.
