Senior Android Developer

We are looking for an Android Developer for an exciting opportunity with a client in the fintech industry, working on innovative solutions to enhance customer experiences and streamline financial services. As an Android Developer, you will develop innovative Android applications. A key contributor to mobile design and architecture to deliver outstanding apps. We expect engineers to have the desire of curiosity, passion, and a driven, enthusiastic mentality, to be proficient in algorithms, problem-solving, and crafting scalable, resilient, and crash-free Android apps. Duties and responsibilities:

– Architect, design, build, and deliver world-class Android applications using Kotlin and Java

– Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other colleagues to seek exciting and results-oriented problems for delivering value

– Write clear, maintainable code that will scale

– Learn, grow, and mentor other engineers through code reviews and pair programming to accelerate their technical mastery

– Challenge team processes, looking for ways to improve them

– Assist in the development and drive of good practices within the team, making an impact on the whole team

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

– 5+ years of experience in software development

– 4+ years of working experience in Android development using Kotlin and Java

– Architect, design, build, and deliver world-class Android applications

– Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other colleagues to seek exciting and results-oriented problems for delivering value

– Write clear, maintainable code that will scale

– Challenge team processes, looking for ways to improve them

– Experience in customizing the standard Android `s UI (navigation controls, transitions, lists, tables)

– Consistent record of design and implementation of high-quality, crash-free Android applications

– Strong experience with the Android SDK

– A good understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles

– Practical experience in using RESTful services

– Experience implementing sophisticated Android applications

– Experience with agile methodologies

– Excellent communication skills in English: both written and verbal
