Why we’re hiring

We are expanding our work with a major international banking client and are looking for a mid-level full stack engineer to help lead delivery on business-critical systems. You’ll shape architecture decisions, raise the quality bar, and mentor the developers around you.

What you’ll do

•     Design, build, and maintain backend services in Java with Spring Boot
•     Own technical design for new features: modeling, architecture, technical specifications
•     Analyze business requirements with stakeholders and turn them into well-scoped work
•     Design REST APIs and document them with OpenAPI/Swagger
•     Plan database changes, including migrations and rollback strategies, on Oracle and PostgreSQL
•     Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and security
•     Integrate with existing banking systems and keep them compliant with industry standards
•     Review code, mentor mid-level and junior developers, and drive good engineering practices
•     Evaluate new technologies before they reach production

What we’re looking for

•     3+ years of professional software development, with strong Java (Kotlin is a big plus)
•     Solid experience with Spring / Spring Boot in production
•     Strong command of OOP and functional programming concepts
•     Experience designing and building REST APIs
•     Deep knowledge of relational databases: schema design, SQL, query optimization, indexing
•     Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed systems
•     Front-end experience with Angular and TypeScript
•     Comfort with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and working in a DevOps model
•     Track record of delivering enterprise-grade software
•     Fluent English and clear communication across teams and with clients

Nice to have

•     Experience with Hibernate / JPA, including entity mapping and ORM performance tuning
•     Experience in banking, fintech, or another regulated industry
•     Caching strategies and performance tuning at scale
•     Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
