Quantitative C++ Developer

ImpacT Hire is supporting one of our clients – a technology-driven company building high-performance trading systems for global cryptocurrency markets.

We are looking for a Quantitative Developer (C++ background) to join an experienced engineering team developing ultra-low-latency software that powers automated trading. Unlike traditional software companies, the focus here is entirely on engineering excellence, performance optimization, and solving complex technical challenges.

This role is ideal for developers who enjoy algorithms, systems programming, and writing highly optimized code that operates at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications for automated trading systems;
• Build and optimize low-latency software with strong focus on performance, reliability, and scalability;
• Design and implement efficient algorithms and data structures for performance-critical workloads;
• Contribute to both greenfield development and continuous improvement of existing systems;
• Collaborate closely with experienced engineers to solve complex technical and architectural challenges;
• Take ownership of your work and actively contribute ideas that improve platform performance and engineering practices.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of professional in C++ Development;
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity;
• Passion for writing clean, efficient, and high-quality code;
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and continuously improve;
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience developing low-latency or high-performance systems;
• Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, and memory optimization;
• Participation in competitive programming, math or physics competitions;
• Understanding of Linux, computer architecture, networking, or operating systems;
• Interest in quantitative finance, distributed systems, or trading technologies.
