Project Manager – Azure Migration and Transformation

About the Role

HCLTech is looking for an experienced Project Manager – Azure Cloud Migration & Transformation to lead and deliver cloud migration and infrastructure transformation initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to drive successful Azure cloud adoption programs, ensuring delivery excellence, governance, and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Azure cloud migration and infrastructure transformation projects.

Manage project scope, timelines, budget, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.

Conduct discovery workshops and gather business and technical requirements.

Drive stakeholder communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.

Facilitate governance reviews, escalation management, and decision-making processes.

Monitor project progress and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders.

Ensure customer expectations and business objectives are consistently met.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably within cloud migration, infrastructure transformation, or IT infrastructure projects.

Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

Experience leading customer-facing projects in complex enterprise environments.

Good understanding of Microsoft Azure services, subscriptions, and cloud environments.

Proven experience facilitating discovery workshops and business discussions independently.

Strong planning, organizational, risk, and dependency management skills.

Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.

 Nice to Have

Experience managing large-scale digital transformation programs.

Exposure to cloud adoption frameworks and migration best practices.

Prior experience working in global and multicultural project environments.

Understanding of infrastructure, networking, and cloud operating models.

 Certifications

Preferred

PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other Project Management certification.

Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or other Azure certifications.
