DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps & IT Security Engineer to help design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments. This role combines DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, cybersecurity, and operational excellence to support business-critical systems and services.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure solutions.

Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Manage and optimize cloud and on-premises environments.

Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and availability.

Conduct vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and remediation tracking.

Implement security controls and support compliance requirements.

Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical projects and improvements.

Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response activities.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, or IT Security.

Strong experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.

Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps methodologies.

Solid understanding of networking, server administration, and system architecture.

Knowledge of vulnerability management, endpoint security, and security best practices.

Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Knowledge of SIEM, vulnerability management, and security monitoring tools.

Certifications such as Azure, AWS, CCNA, MCSE, Security+, CISSP, or similar.

Experience with ITIL and enterprise IT service management practices.
