As a Senior React Native Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building and evolving cross-platform mobile applications used by a growing customer base. You’ll work in a high-trust, product-driven environment where quality, scalability, and user experience matter deeply. What You’ll Do

Build Exceptional Mobile Experiences – Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript, delivering seamless experiences across iOS and Android.

Deliver Product Impact – Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate ideas into high-quality, user-focused features.

Drive Performance & Scalability – Improve app performance, reliability, and scalability while proactively addressing technical debt and architectural improvements.

Champion Engineering Quality – Write and maintain automated tests across the testing pyramid. Contribute to clean architecture, code quality, and continuous improvement practices.

Contribute Beyond Your Squad – Participate in planning, estimation, and technical discussions while supporting broader engineering initiatives as the organisation scales internationally.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript and TypeScript
• Commercial experience building cross-platform mobile applications with React Native
• Solid understanding of mobile UX principles across platforms and devices
• Experience with automated testing and pragmatic testing strategies
• Product mindset with the ability to break down requirements and estimate effectively
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Nice-to-Have

• Production experience with GraphQL
• Deep understanding of mobile performance optimisation and debugging
• Experience with staged rollouts or experimentation (e.g., A/B or multivariate testing)
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and tools
• Close collaboration experience with designers on UI/UX decisions
• Experience scaling products to large user bases
