The Opportunity: Own More Than Just the Frontend

We’re looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join our Billing team and help build and evolve one of the essential parts of the GeoWealth platform.

Billing sits at the intersection of financial accuracy, complex business logic, and user experience. The challenge? Making sophisticated financial workflows feel simple, intuitive, and reliable.

You’ll work on meaningful engineering challenges, take ownership of features from concept to delivery, and have a real voice in technical and product decisions.

This isn’t just about building React components. It’s about understanding the problem, challenging assumptions, and engineering better solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Build with impact. Design, develop, and enhance frontend features using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Own your work end to end. Take features from initial requirements and technical design through development, testing, and delivery.
• Make complexity feel simple. Transform sophisticated billing workflows and business requirements into intuitive, reliable user experiences.
• Think beyond the next release. Build reusable components, improve frontend architecture, and create solutions that remain scalable and maintainable.
• Connect the dots. Integrate with RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data flows across the application.
• Raise the engineering bar. Identify opportunities to improve performance, code quality, and technical practices.
• Challenge and collaborate. Partner with Backend Engineers, Product Managers, Architects, and QA to evaluate trade-offs and make thoughtful technical decisions.
• Explore smarter ways of working. Use modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools to improve how we design, build, and deliver software.

What Will Make You Successful 

We’re looking for someone who combines strong frontend expertise with curiosity, ownership, and sound engineering judgment.

Your technical toolkit

• Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience with frontend state management, particularly Redux.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern frontend practices.
• Experience building reusable components and maintainable, scalable web applications.
• Confidence working with RESTful APIs, asynchronous operations, and complex application data.
• Understanding of frontend performance, testing, and code quality practices.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kendo UI or similar component libraries.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools.
• Knowledge of Java or experience collaborating on Java-based applications.
