About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join a remote engineering team and help design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities:

● Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services in Microsoft Azure.

● Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.

● Manage and optimize Azure resources, environments, and infrastructure.

● Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

● Automate operational processes, deployments, and infrastructure provisioning using scripting and DevOps practices.

● Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.

● Implement and maintain cloud security, access controls, networking, and best practices.

● Work with development and engineering teams to improve deployment workflows and operational efficiency.

● Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) where applicable.

● Contribute to logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes.

● Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, automation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes.

● Participate in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.

Requirements:

● 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.

● Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and core Azure services.

● Practical experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.

● Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

● Good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows administration.

● Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

● Experience with Git and version control.

● Understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and access management.

● Experience with Docker and preferably Kubernetes/AKS.

● Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights.

● Good understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD practices, automation, and cloud infrastructure management.

● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

● Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have:

● Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

● Experience with Helm, Ansible, or similar automation tools.

● Experience with Azure networking and security services.

● Knowledge of microservices and cloud-native architectures.

● Experience working with highly available and production-scale cloud environments.

● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
