At the core of the role

In Bulgaria we’re looking for Senior QA Automation Engineer to work on a Linux-based air traffic control platform built with C++ microservices. The position focuses on requirements-based testing, Python/pytest automation, manual validation, risk analysis, defect management, and ensuring quality and reliability in a complex safety-critical environment.

The impact you’ll create:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scenarios using Python and Cucumber.
• Design, prepare, and execute manual test cases where automation is not applicable.
• Validate software functionality against business and technical requirements.
• Report, track, and verify defects using Jira and Xray.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers to ensure high product quality.
• Continuously improve test coverage and contribute to the overall test automation strategy.
• Support the team in delivering reliable, high-quality software within a complex enterprise environment.
• Support the team in ensuring software quality through both automation and manual testing.
