Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end cloud and infrastructure solutions.
• Develop high-level and detailed technical designs.
• Evaluate technologies based on requirements, risk, cost, scalability, and operational complexity.
• Provide technical leadership across virtualisation, compute, storage, networking, operating systems, public cloud, and container platforms.
• Support VMware, Nutanix, OpenStack/Virtuozzo, AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes initiatives.
• Define availability, capacity, resilience, backup, disaster recovery, security, and monitoring requirements.
• Support major infrastructure deployments, migrations, and complex troubleshooting.
• Develop architecture standards, technical documentation, implementation requirements, and runbooks.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and technology partners.

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant infrastructure or cloud engineering experience.
• Experience designing or taking senior technical ownership of enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and data-centre technologies.
• Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi or equivalent virtualisation platforms.
• Knowledge of hyperconverged infrastructure, preferably Nutanix AHV/Prism.
• Understanding of compute, storage, networking, Windows, and Linux environments.
• Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Understanding of monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure security.
• Automation, scripting, or Infrastructure as Code experience is considered an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Deep expertise in every technology is not required. We value broad infrastructure knowledge, architectural judgement, curiosity, and the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
