We are looking for a Senior System Administrator with expertise in FreeBSD who is passionate about building, scaling, and maintaining resilient infrastructure. This role is central to ensuring our platforms operate with maximum efficiency, high availability, and zero downtime. You will design, implement, and maintain systems that support growing data volumes, large-scale data operations, and seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

You will architect and operate infrastructure with a strong focus on performance, redundancy, and operational stability:

• Plan and build environments capable of supporting global-scale traffic and continuously growing data volumes.
• Ensure all systems meet strict security and compliance requirements.
• Design topologies with no single point of failure, ensuring redundancy for every critical component.
• Develop and maintain network architectures optimized for fault tolerance, low latency, and secure communication.
• Implement server-level clustering and hardware-based redundancy.
• Deploy and manage software-level clustering and load balancing for high-load workloads.
• Engineer and maintain resilient database clusters with seamless failover and data integrity.
• Monitor, optimize, and improve infrastructure efficiency, resource utilization, and system performance.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and long-term stability improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in system administration or SRE-oriented roles.
• Proven experience delivering reliable, client-focused technical solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a high-availability, results-driven environment.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Expertise in FreeBSD and other Unix-based operating systems, such as Linux.
• Proficiency with MySQL/MariaDB Galera Cluster and multi-node replication topologies.
• Experience with Redis, Memcached, BeanStalk, MinIO, Podman.
• Programming/scripting experience in Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, and Bash.
