Head of IT Change & Communication Management

Position Overview

The Head of IT Change and Communication Management is responsible for driving organizational transformation, AI adoption, and stakeholder engagement across the organization.

This role focuses on the people side of change, helping leaders, teams, and employees successfully navigate AI-driven transformation and new ways of working. Acting as a trusted advisor, coach, and change leader, the successful candidate will foster engagement, build organizational readiness, and support the behavioral and cultural shifts required to maximize the value of technology investments.

The role combines organizational change management, strategic communication, coaching, and consulting skills to ensure that transformation initiatives are not only implemented but genuinely adopted and embraced by the organization.

What you will do

Change Management & OrganizationalTransformation

• Lead change management for major IT initiatives, including AI adoption, digital transformation, platform rollouts, and operating model changes.
• Define and implement change management frameworks, methodologies, and governance.
• Assess organizational readiness, identify change impacts, and proactively address adoption barriers and resistance.
• Build organizational change capabilities and foster a culture of adaptability, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Act as an organizational coach and trusted advisor, supporting leaders in navigating transformation and leading teams through change.

Communication Strategy

• Own and drive the IT communication strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Translate complex IT and AI topics into clear, compelling messages for different audiences.
• Lead executive communications, including CDIO messaging, organization-wide campaigns, and stakeholder-specific communication plans.
• Develop communication approaches that increase awareness, engagement, and confidence in transformation initiatives.
• Partner with HR, Communications, and Transformation Offices to ensure alignment and successful execution.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with leaders, teams, and key stakeholders across the organization.
• Support leaders in understanding organizational dynamics, employee concerns, and barriers to adoption.
• Facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, leadership discussions, and stakeholder engagements that strengthen alignment, commitment, and readiness for change.
• Foster trust, collaboration, and active participation to ensure sustainable adoption of new technologies and ways of working.

AI Adoption & Value Realization

• Lead the people side of AI adoption initiatives and AI-enabled ways of working across the organization.
• Develop strategies that increase awareness, understanding, confidence, and engagement with AI solutions.
• Integrate change management into AI Board activities, project and portfolio governance (e.g., SPM), and the IT service lifecycle.
• Define and track adoption KPIs, including usage, engagement, and satisfaction

What we require

• Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology, Psychology, Human Resources, Change Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in organizational change management, IT communications, transformation, or organizational development.
• Experience supporting AI adoption and AI-driven transformation initiatives is preferred.
• Experience creating content with AI tools, developing presentations in PowerPoint with Microsoft Copilot, and managing Viva Engage.
• Strong storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives.
• Understanding of IT operating models, Agile and product organizations; ServiceNow knowledge is an advantage.
• Data-driven mindset with experience measuring adoption, engagement, and business value realization.
• Prosci Change Management, CSM, SAFe, or similar certifications are considered a plus.
