You should be eager to deepen your expertise in the Databricks Lakehouse, especially Delta Lake and Unity Catalog, and you enjoy a fast-paced environment that values learning and collaboration. Hands-on experience with Databricks tools is a strong plus. That includes Lakeflow Spark Declarative Pipelines and Auto Loader for building ETL pipelines, Lakeflow Jobs for orchestration, Databricks Asset Bundles for CI/CD, Databricks SQL for analytics, and Delta Sharing for sharing data securely.

Job Description/Requirements 

• 5+ years in data engineering or software development, ideally with large-scale distributed data systems
• Deep, hands-on Databricks expertise, especially Unity Catalog (governance, permissions, lineage) and Delta Lake
• Strong PySpark and Spark SQL skills, including performance tuning (partitioning, liquid clustering, OPTIMIZE/Z-ORDER, reading query plans)
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Experience building production pipelines with Lakeflow Spark Declarative Pipelines, Auto Loader, and Structured Streaming
• Experience with orchestration and CI/CD, such as Lakeflow Jobs, Databricks Asset Bundles, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory
• Experience with at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid data modeling and architecture background, including lakehouse design, medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold), and dimensional modeling
• Strong communication skills and experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives
