OUR CLIENT 

Our client is a growing European IT services group bringing together established technology companies across Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Bulgaria. With a strong presence in the DACH market and a broad portfolio covering managed IT services, cloud, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and AI, the Group supports organisations across a wide range of industries with complex technology needs.

As the group continues to grow and integrate new companies, it has reached a point where common systems, processes, and operational standards are needed to support the organisation as a whole. As part of this internal group-wide project, they are establishing a dedicated team responsible for integrating and harmonising business systems and data across the group, and are looking for a Dynamics 365 CRM Administrator to join the team.

Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)

Responsibilities:

• Set up and administer Microsoft Fabric environments and related data services.
• Connect and integrate data from different sources, including CRM and ERP systems.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
• Prepare, clean, and structure data for reporting, analytics, and forecasting.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.
• Support data models and datasets used by reporting and analytics solutions.
• Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable data processing.
• Contribute to data governance, standards, and documentation across the group.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related data-focused role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data ingestion, pipelines, data transformation, and data preparation.
• Experience connecting and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Practical understanding of data integration, data quality, and data transformation processes.
• Experience preparing and structuring data for reporting, analytics, and forecasting.
• Good understanding of databases, data structures, and data flows.
• Experience working with CRM and ERP data, particularly Dynamics 365 and/or Business Central, would be an advantage.
• Experience with Power BI would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English.
