In this talk we will cover an early introduction to web3 architecture from the eyes of a web2 experienced developer and architect.
We’ll look into the basic organizational elements of blockchains, their web2 homologues, how data flows, how functions are called, and then look into one of the first web3 projects I worked on that made things „click“.

Marin has worked in the Software industry for the last 15 years, and is currently architecting Blockchain solutions for LimeChain.
He’s an Alumnus of the American University in Bulgaria, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from there, as well as a Master’s in Software Engineering from the University of Technology Malaysia.
His early career started out developing drivers and game-logic for mechanical games utilizing Atmel and STM and ESP based microcontrollers.
While in Malaysia, Marin was working on systems used by State Governments to optimize their investments and expenditures.
Over the last 10 years, Marin has been working in Bulgaria in the Software Services industry, experiencing the growth of the industry from its early days. Clients have included telecoms, automakers, and massive e-commerce platforms. He’s been a developer, performance engineer, leader, manager, and has guided teams of up to 110 people.
For a brief hiatus from the software services industry, Marin also joined the space industry, working with the team at Endurosat.
These days the primary focus is on designing and planning Blockchain and Web3 solutions that have real-life impacts at LimeChain.
