Radostina is a Principal Security Engineer in EBRD’s newly established Tech Sofia office. She is leading the Attack Surface Management team in the bank. Radostina has over nine years of experience in the IT sector, specialising mainly in Cyber Security. She possesses in-depth knowledge of security controls and practices within the SDLC, web & mobile application security, automation, penetration testing & GRC.
Her career began as a developer before moving into automation, and later into Cyber
Security. Advancing from Senior Security Engineer to Team Lead, and ultimately to CyberSecurity Manager & leader of the Cyber Security Business in one of the major software development companies in Bulgaria. Throughout the years she has also handled internal security and data protection. She has successfully partnered with customers across industries providing consultancy and security engineering services. Recent projects include leading the SSDLC for a digital bank in the Middle East and consulting on SSDLC practices for a major Bulgarian telecom. In 2021, she initiated and managed the development a Cyber Security product designed and implemented under her leadership. The project was later frozen due to budget cuts.
