Christoph Berentzen Head of Open Banking Commerzbank

As Head of Open Banking in Commerzbank, Christoph works as an enabler for business connectivity. In his role, he helps the bank deliver centralised data services internally and externally through Application Programming Interface (API) and Distributor Ledger Technology (DLT), amongst other technologies. This not only increases internal efficiency, but also enables new business models externally. In addition, Christoph is leading the DLT initiatives at Commerzbank. Prior to Commerzbank, Christoph was a product manager for two leading European fintechs, where he held various management roles. Christoph holds an MBA from the University of Münster in business administration. In his spare time Christoph is a passionate author and publisher.
