    Mission of the Role:

    • Focus on requirements capturing, architecture design, high level design, detailed design and unit testing. Works on developing a technology roadmap with their knowledge across domains and software development. Collaborates across functions, leads development efforts for projects and liaisons with the project managers. Responsible for work product reviews, defining architectural frameworks and guidelines. Mentors and coaches team members on agile standards and best practices.
    • Leads development efforts for multiple software projects with varying degrees of complexity / priorities (aligned with technical teams). Establishes tactical plans, collaborates across functions to improve efficiency and predictability in software development and delivery.
    • Provides technical road map and day-to-day technical leadership to the development scrum teams and architects. Responsible for capability building of scrum team members with their knowledge and holistic view development Systems.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Prioritizes and manages work with scrum teams for ongoing projects.
    • Ensures process documents / artefacts are maintained and continuously improved (by analysing systemic issues) to enable efficient execution.
    • Serves as the single point of contact for project managers and technology team leads.
    • Participates in work product reviews to ensure quality and collaboration across teams
    • Proactively develops plans to anticipate risks and address them by leading issue resolution from the front
    • Focusing on guiding, mentoring and coaching the team on technical solutions
    • Peer review the work done by the team members to ensure quality of the deliverables
    • Participates proactively in developing tools, methods, techniques and best practices research.
    • Ensures process documents / artefacts are maintained and continuously improved (by analysing systemic issues) to enable efficient execution
    • Leads delivery excellence efforts in line with QCD (quality, cost and delivery) norms for the scope of the scrum team
    • Design and implement Software / Hardware Debug I/O Assertions in the given module
    • Deep involvement in board bring-up software activities.
    • Solve critical and most complex technical problems
    • Assure high quality through code verification activities – integration testing, unit testing, etc.
    • Software debugging and quality assurance
    • Prepare appropriate technical documentation.
    • Support customer with on-site engineering if required – troubleshooting customer issues, in-car testing, etc.
    • Perform software integration/configuration tasks for OS / MCAL / AUTOSAR BSW / RTE

    • Quality and accuracy pf project roadmap
    • Reusability of components / artefacts
    • Schedule adherence of project delivery as per the plan
    • Schedule adherence and accuracy of project status reports
    • Effectiveness of risk mitigation plans, quality of risk identification

    Technical Knowledge and Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
    • 8+ years of experience in managing projects
    • Experience with cost management systems
    • Project management (PMP) Certification
    • Agile Certified Profession (ACP), Scrum Master and Lean certifications
    • AUTOSPICE experience
    • AUTOSAR Knowledge and work experience
    • DaVinci or similar Autosar configuration tools knowledge
