The role looks like:

Working as a WW CoE consultant, the engineers will be building backend automation solutions most of which are based on TypeScript and/or object-oriented JavaScript. The automated solutions will be in large-scale cloud (Azure, GCP and AWS) and on-prem data centers (think tens of thousands of physical hosts and millions of virtual machines which are going to be provisioned). The post-provisioning process involves languages like Ansible, Bash, PowerShell used for operating systems like Unix and Windows.

The engineers will be developing CI/CD pipelines, automated workflows, and services such as load balancer as a service, database as a service, … anything as a service. The role is suitable for all the candidates having experience in at least one of the following domains: Java, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, NodeJS, C/C++ or any OOP Language. It is not the language but the seniority, experience and motivation what matters to us.

Will be considered as a plus if the candidates have any experience with:

• Infrastructure as a Code Concepts
• Virtualization
• K8s
• Networking Background
• Previous Consulting Experience
• Terraform
• OpenStack Concepts.

The contracted engineers will act as consultants to our stakeholders and the customer by understanding and fulfilling their requirements, while communicating clearly (in English) with architects, developers, DevOps, quality engineers and project managers. Their solutions should be following best practices, be well tested and documented. They will advise customers on technical topics on pre-sales calls and might take part in technical presentations, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

The engineers will be able to grow and develop their skill following the company’s processed, practices and guidance.

Job Requirements:

• Full-stack experience with both OOP and any scripting languages;
• Have a great customer-focused attitude;
• Being a team player;
• Solid experience in enterprise systems integrations and web services;
• Having high self-motivation and readiness to learn new technologies;
• Good communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge and understanding of cloud and infrastructure, DevOps (CI/CD), Ansible, Linux, and networking/security; VMware product exposure would be a plus;
• Understanding of virtual IT production data center, experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and experience with Kubernetes would be a plus;
• Ability & willingness to travel up to 10% (post pandemic), including extended assignments over couple of weeks and to various countries globally;
