Unicard is a leading UK provider of transport ticketing solutions, which we provide to local authority transport departments and transport operators. As a small / medium-sized enterprise we pride ourselves on outstanding products, technical support and customer service.

We work in partnership with exciting companies such as ITSO, Google and Idemia to retail and fulfil tickets to smartphones and cards.

Due to our constant expansion and new product investments, we are recruiting a new Junior Project Controller who will work with our multinational team based in Varna and UK.

ROLE PURPOSE

We are looking for a Junior Project Controller to be responsible for gathering requirements from customers and/or internal teams, analysing processes and systems, working with tech leads to plan out solutions, and creating documentation and specifications that enable development to takes place.
Junior Project Controller in Unicard will be responsible for the assisting local producer in coordinating and delegating tasks and capturing requirements for a development team and will also have the following responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the producer in leading our development teams toward the completion of top tier transport solutions by planning and following up on the development cycle in a hybrid environment
• Organize brainstorming sessions with team members in order to propose concepts for future production
• Coordinate the team wisely and pro-actively, in order to ensure smooth implementation of the assigned features
• Supporting project schedule, and tracking tasks to ensure the team’s work is delivered on time
• Performing requirements analysis
• Effectively communicating requirements plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodology and culture for development of agile projects
• Previous experience in managing teams and projects would be considered as a plus
• Independence and initiative, along with a proven track record of seeking out tasks, finding new ways to enhance productivity
• A keen eye for detail and high standards of work
• Excellent command of English – both written and spoken
• Previous experience with JIRA would also be considered as an advantage
• Keeping up with deadlines.
• Works effectively in a changing environment
• Works collaboratively with others
