As a Teva company, in October 2020 Actavis has started the process of re-branding and anticipating the Teva brand.

    We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Data Scientist, to help us discover insights in rich sources of data coming from a world-scale, world-leading pharma company.

    Additional to technical skills, the position requires creativity, analytical and critical thinking, focus on business questions and good stakeholder engagement abilities.

    The role

    This position is for senior data scientists with strong technical and analytical skills.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Perform exploratory data analysis to extract actionable business insights
    • Formulate hypotheses about patterns in data and test them
    • Apply statistical methods to detect patterns or outliers
    • Communicate Data insights to stakeholders through intuitive visualizations
    • Apply Machine Learning techniques to forecast future behavior

    Skills needed:

    • Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or Statistics
    • Masters’ or Doctorate degrees in the areas above are an advantage
    • Data Science or Machine Learning experience of at least 3 years, or equivalently 2 projects
    • Methods for regression, classification, times series prediction
    • Python: Pandas, Numpy, SKlearn, Scipy, Jupyter Notebooks, Plotting packages
    • Azure, DataBricks are an advantage
