    Description and Requirements

    The Security Infrastructure Engineer (SIE) delivers and supports complex operational security services and tools within the defined timeframes and with high quality, while providing the deep technical knowledge in the designated areas during troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem management lifecycle.

    As a senior level role, it requires the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders like IT, Security, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams, vendors and third party support organizations, participation in advisory boards and incident management cases.

    The Security Infrastructure Engineer (SIE) follows strictly the approved processes and procedures, escalates timely and proactively major issues and risks, identifying areas for improvement.


    • Support the design and implement security tools, systems and solutions with guidance from the Security Engineering and Operations and the Security Architecture teams
    • Responsible and accountable for the assigned security tools and systems, ensuring their proper operation, collaborating with other teams to update, maintain, improve their capabilities, working with vendors and applying expert knowledge to troubleshoot any issues, complying with SLAs, providing expert knowledge to assess impact and inter-connectivity with other systems, tools, processes and workflows
    • Create documentation, diagrams, workflows and maintain it for the assigned systems
    • Ensure compliance of the configurations and workflows with the company policies, standards, certifications and client contract requirements
    • Participation in advisory boards, change management, reviewing requests, root cause analysis
    • Analysis of logs, information, data, threat intelligence and other sources as part of the incident detection, investigation, resolution, and reporting
    • Follow strictly the approved team and company processes and procedures, particularly the Incident Management and Change Management lifecycles


    • Deep knowledge of the majority of the security products: antivirus, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, logging, server hardening, configuration management, data loss prevention, encryption
    • Understanding and experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), including platform specifics, threats intelligence prevention and removal, security incident response and management (SIR/SIM)
    • Understanding of Security Operations Center principles, including digital investigations and forensics
    • Understanding of the security governance frameworks and requirements, including risk management, compliance, audit
    • Excellent knowledge of modern operating systems, concepts like databases, directory services, authentication, asset management, scripting languages, understanding of clustering and high availability
    • Advanced understanding of network technologies and protocols, including security concepts and devices like firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), cloud computing
    • Knowledge and experience with Palo Alto, CyberArk, GCP, Splunk will be considered advantage
