Role Overview:

We are currently looking for a Billing Operations Engineer who will be responsible for the configuration and support of the company’s Billing systems/platforms (Prepaid/Post-Paid) in accordance with the Company strategy and SLAs, as well as ensuring accuracy and high performance of Billing systems and related services and infrastructure.

Main responsibilities:

• Administrate and maintain Billing systems
• Control the performance of the Post-paid and IN systems data bases
• Perform traffic measurements and first level tracing for the needs of the Technology Operations
• Register and maintain the trouble reporting system (last configuration of reports and registration in dedicated data base)
• Coordinate and participate in software implementations
• Cooperate with suppliers for hardware and software issues
• Ensure and monitor proper systems back-up (both system and database backups) on daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Manage the process of production deployment of new features and functionalities and their verification
• Participate in design, implementation, configuration, management, monitoring of performance and utilization of Company’s Billing systems
• Configuration and integration of new features and services requested by Company Divisions, corresponding to the Billing systems and related services/ infrastructure
• Implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the rating and billing tariffs in the Billing systems
• Provide regular reports and statistics for the Billing systems and subscribers base
• Ensure the accuracy of newly implemented solutions, applications or features in the Billing systems
• Monitor Billing systems functionality and take responsibility for their accurate performance.

Requirements:

• University Degree in Communications/IT or related field of studies
• Working experience in the field of IT or telecommunications
• Knowledge in Billing systems and services will be considered as an advantage
• Overall understanding of the telecommunication or IT technologies and principles
• Good knowledge in Linux/Unix system administration
• Good level of knowledge in SQL database server administration (Oracle; PLSQL)
• IP Network knowledge
• Good command of English
