About the Role

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join a team building a modern Kubernetes-based Edge Computing platform. This role offers the opportunity to work on a highly scalable and secure cloud-native infrastructure solution that extends computing capabilities beyond traditional data center environments.

As part of an international Agile team, you will contribute to the development, automation, and continuous improvement of the platform while working with modern technologies and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and evolution of a Kubernetes-based Edge Computing platform.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Continuously automate and optimize technical and operational processes.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Identify and implement sustainable solutions to improve platform stability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in architectural discussions and technology decisions.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• Advanced programming experience with Go (Golang).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as: Terraform, Pulumi
• Experience with templating and deployment technologies such as: Hellm, Kustomize
• Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing or maintaining Kubernetes Operators.
• Knowledge of Software-Defined Networking technologies, including Cilium.
• Experience with GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD.
• Experience with Embedded Linux environments or specialized operating systems such as Flatcar or Talos.
