Oracle Data Warehouse SQL Developer

We are looking for a skilled Data Warehouse SQL Developer with Oracle on behalf of one of our clients – a company with significant scale in the telecommunications industry and an ambitious technology roadmap.

About the Client:

Our client is entering a pivotal phase of technological advancement and is seeking a professional to play a key role in implementing and refining its corporate Data Warehouse system. This is a chance to work on robust, large-scale solutions that power business intelligence across the entire organization.

Your Daily Routine Would Include:

• Implementing and supporting the corporate Data Warehouse system;
• Developing ad-hoc report queries and optimizing existing ones for peak performance;
• Following and helping improve the company’s standard software development processes;
• Designing and developing relational and/or dimensional data models based on business requirements.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of ANSI SQL programming – preferably T-SQL;
• 2+ years in Oracle database, Informaticа PowerCenter ETL, development of Data Warehousing.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate user requirements into efficient models and processes;
• A communicative, responsible personality with a strong willingness to learn and grow with new technologies;
• Fluency in English – both written and spoken.

The Following is not a must, but it will be considered a Strong Advantage:

• Experience with ETL tools such as IBM DataStage, Microsoft SSIS, or SAP Data Services;
• Knowledge of Ab Initio and/or Teradata SLJM – this is a significant plus;
• Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools like MS SSRS, SAP BO, Power BI, or QlikView;
• Knowledge of Teradata and/or MS Azure;
• Any background in generic software development.
