Client and Project Description

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our distributed team. As part of our DevOps team, you will help develop tools powering up a modern development environment for the worlds leading semiconductor lithography company (situated in the Netherlands).

The tools integrate version control systems (Git, Bitbucket), artifacts repository (Artifactory), build system (GNU Make, Gradle), and continuous integration environment (Jenkins).

The solution also interfaces with code analyzers, code coverage tools, and custom deployment tooling to acceptance and production environments.

Job Mission

Support thousands of developers by making their work easier and more efficient. Reduce implementation failure, shorten development cycles, improve cost efficiency, and innovate faster.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain various development, testing, and automation tools;
• Assist users with their breakages;
• Design, build and maintain cloud-based environments and services.

Requirements

Required experience:

• GNU Make development for recipes
• Linux / Unix administration
• Python or Ruby scripting
• Scripting with Bash

Bonus points for experience with:

• TDD (Test Driven Development)
• CT/CI/CD (Continuous Testing/Integration/Delivery)
• Public cloud (Azure and/or AWS and/or GCP)
• Artifactory
• Terraform, Puppet
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Git (GitLab/ GitHub)
• Working with Ticket Management Systems, preferably Service Now

Personal skills:

• Eager to learn to work with new/unfamiliar tools and technologies
• Has a drive toward analyzing and solving problems
• Feels comfortable working in a complex environment
• Has the agile mindset
• Team player with good communication skills
