    • Develop and maintain the internal operational platform for application teams (terraform, Kubernetes, operational applications, internal supplementary applications/microservices)
    • Develop and improve the continuous integration and deployment for cloud offerings (pipelines and GitOps tooling)
    • Participate in and guide architectural decisions to core components of our platform as well as integrations with external components
    • Identify improvements in the code base and the processes around architecture, design and development, foster collaboration with platform adopters and help contributors
    • Ensure code quality and coverage, adherence to security policies, automate testing and support of operational processes (notifications, alerting, observability etc.)
    • Support automation of applications and provide “self-service” capability for environments to RnD
    • Work closely with Cloud teams to ensure robust and automatic infrastructure, easily scalable and testable, support and consult 3rd party integration of cloud tooling and SaaS (for security compliance, alerting, cost optimization etc.)
    • Mature automation across the processes of CI/CD, monitoring and observability, self-healing, and auto-scaling systems
    • Drive the adoption process of end-to-end automated workflow from development to production with appropriate tools and processes as part of the operational platform and as a company culture


    • You have 6+ years of relevant professional experience
    • You will seek and incorporate reviews, handle testing, instrumentation, deployment, and monitoring
    • You will provide thoughtful, constructive code reviews
    • You will take on mentorship of more junior engineers, highlight their accomplishments, and help them find their way in the organization
    • You will proactively improve the lot of engineers on call by creating automated tasks, writing runbooks, and ensuring all errors appearing in logs are actual errors rather than simply living with “some we can ignore.”
    • You will contribute to open-source projects on behalf of the organization
    • You take initiative and pitch in.  You jump into areas that need your help, you leave code better than when you found it, and you actively contribute to your team’s or the engineering org’s priorities
    • You are comfortable spiking or creating an MVP in order to ensure we learn quickly, and understand the appropriate tradeoffs to make to do so

    IT skills:

    • Very good knowledge in one or more major Cloud vendors (AWS, Azure etc.)
    • Experience with infrastructure tools (Terraform, Infrastructure as Code paradigm)
    • Software development skills (programming and design patterns, version control, scripting)
    • Experience with a relevant CI and CD tooling (Bitbucket pipelines, ArgoCD)
    • Quality driven and don’t compromise in your daily work
    • Kubernetes and relating products (Helm, Docker, Kapitan)
    • Programming / scripting languages (Python, Go etc. and shell scripting)
    • Test automation paradigms and tools (unit testing, TDD/BDD, terratest, test-kitchen, pytest, selenium)
    • Attention to code quality and coverage
    • UNIX based OS knowledge

    • IT Related University degree or relevant experience
    • Agile oriented (Kanban)
