Our customer, a global leader in aviation industry, requires support in the digitalization of their processes. The product owner is based in Europe and the customer has got significant IT knowledge. The project will enable the automatic processing of the plane manufacturer’s documentation. The aim of the project is to minimize human involvement and increase quality. It will significantly increase the customer’s business potential. The team of five to eight people will work in sprints, with few sprints per project stage.

YOU ARE

We are looking for an intelligent, clever, highly motivated Java Software Engineer who can work as a team member and resolve complex tasks without the guidance of senior staff. You will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

• Having 3+ years of commercial experience in Java development
• Showing BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent background
• Demonstrating at least 3-year professional software development experience
• Possessing development experience with Java Web Applications, Service-Oriented, and Micro-Services Architecture
• Back end: Quarkus, Spring or Spring Boot, Java 8+, Hibernate
• DB: SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Graph databases as an additional benefit
• Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Experience with Clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Demonstrating at least Upper-Intermediate English level

• Delivering efficient, maintainable, robust Java-based micro-services
• Producing designs and rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements
• Collaboration with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing
• Producing unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for new and existing features
