Middle/Senior Python Software Engineer (React)

Our project is connected to the leading multi-factor authentication (MFA) and secure access provider. We believe that security should help people get their jobs done, not stand in their way. That means making it easy for our customers to configure policies that change the level of access or trust based on user and device context – minimizing friction while still providing strong security against attacks.

Our project policy engine lies at the heart of these access decisions. That’s why we’re forming a new team to build the next generation of policy for our customers.

IF YOU ARE

• Proficient in web application development using Python for at least 3 years
• Experienced in AWS for at least 1 year
• Strong in React development with at least 1 year of experience
• Experienced in building distributed and scalable SaaS applications, cloud products, services, and APIs.
• Skilled in async programming patterns
• Confident working with SQL databases
• Knowledgeable in CI/CD and deployment practices
• Accustomed to automated software testing practices
• Adept at implementing security best practices and improving user experience
• Effective in daily interactions with English-speaking software engineers on the client side
• Aware of implementing and managing monitoring solutions for real-time data analysis, visualization, and alerting tools: Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus (will be a plus)
• Skilled in working with security products like MFA, SSO, etc. (nice to have)

AND YOU WANT TO

• Implement an identity access management (IAM) system for a renowned security leader
• Integrate with existing security assertion markup language (SAML) and OpenID Connect (OIDC) infrastructures
• Develop and integrate lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP) to enhance directory information services
• Interact with integrating tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the development lifecycle
• Enhance monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of applications
• Leverage AWS services for log processing and data analysis to identify and resolve system bottlenecks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the web applications
• Implement a system for cross-domain identity management (SCIM) for efficient user identity synchronization across multiple platforms
• Build and deploy solutions using AWS Cloud’s scalable infrastructure
• Collaborate with a team of experienced security professionals and cloud experts to deliver a secure and comprehensive IAM solution
