Big Data & Analytics is the data consulting and engineering arm of our Center of Excellence. Hundreds of data engineers and architects build end-to-end data & analytics solutions: from strategy and architecture through technical design, proof of concept, and full-scale implementation.

Our client is a leading US-based provider of healthcare services, specializing in dialysis for patients with chronic kidney failure and end-stage renal disease.

IF YOU ARE

• An experienced Data Platform Architect (or Senior Data Engineer/Architect) with 3+ years in a similar role
• Skilled in designing and evolving enterprise data platforms on Google Cloud Platform
• Hands-on with GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, Dataform, Dataplex, and GKE
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CI/CD practices with GitLab CI
• Comfortable with programming and scripting in Java, Python, or Bash
• Strong in software engineering and data engineering fundamentals, with deep problem-solving skills
• Knowledgeable in databases and distributed systems
• Experienced in data platform architecture and modern cloud data solutions
• Familiar with data mesh architecture and working with distributed engineering teams
• Effective in stakeholder management, translating business needs into technical solutions
• Skilled in mentoring and coaching engineers and cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working in fast-evolving environments with ambiguity
• Self-driven, proactive, and focused on delivering high-quality solutions
• Certified with GCP credentials such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer (nice to have)

AND YOU WANT TO

• Design and deliver high-level and low-level architecture based on evolving business requirements
• Extend and evolve an enterprise data platform on GCP to support new use cases and scalability needs
• Own the technical expertise and strategic vision of the entire data platform, including data mesh platform-level tooling
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, enterprise architects, and technical stakeholders
• Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams, conceptual or technical blockers, and providing hands-on support where needed to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery
• Support the development and evolution of a modern data mesh architecture
• Work at the intersection of strategy and implementation, turning vision into scalable solutions
