About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. In this role, you will work on complex Azure environments, focusing on cloud infrastructure, security, scalability, and automation. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize complex Azure environments including IoT Hub, Function Apps, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Azure monitoring, Private Endpoints and Links, and more 
• Apply best practices to uphold security compliance standards 
• Propose, plan and implement cloud cost budgeting and cost-saving strategies 
• Identify, diagnose and solve complex problems in Azure environments 
  

Role’s requirements:                               

• Managing Azure Cloud: Entra, management groups, function apps (management & deployment), hub & spoke networks and features, Event Hub, Key Vault, Storage accounts 
• Proficient in IaC via Terraform/Terraform Cloud, Ansible 
• Proficient in GitOps methodology & tools 
• Proficient in CI/CD Tools & best practices: Azure DevOps Pipelines and/or GitHub Actions 
• Scripting: PowerShell and/or BASH Advanced scripting skills 
• AZ-104 certificate or higher

• Experience in DB deployment and management of either: PostgreSQL, MongoDB or MSSQL
• Experience with Azure services: AKS clusters, streaming jobs, machine learning workspaces with AKS integration, K8s Helm manifests
• Experience with 3-rd party integrations like Cloudflare, Crowdstrike, Auth0, HashiCorp Vault, PagerDuty, Drata
• Istio Experience: Gateways (public and private), Virtual Services, Authorization Policies, Envoy Filters, RequestAuthentication
• Compliance: ISO 27001 & SOC 2 audit experience
• Architecture: End-to-end infrastructure design in Azure
• Monitoring Stack: Grafana, Promtail, Prometheus, Alert Manager, Datadog
• ArgoCD Autopilot: Advanced ArgoCD deployment experience
• Advanced Database Management: PostgreSQL with Timescale and pgBackRest backup & restore strategies
• Security & DR: Familiarity with DR planning and execution
• Cloudflare: Experience with web application firewall (WAF) and other Cloudflare features
