CLOUD NETWORK ENGINEER (m/f/d)

The impact you will create:

• You will support the development of a high-performance cloud platform based on OpenStack, with a focus on networking (e.g., Neutron, OVS/OVN, Arista, Calico). Take responsibility for the surrounding system landscape (e.g., Kubernetes, Nginx, BGP).
• You will conduct detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify sustainable solutions.
• You will ensure efficient automation and continuous optimization of technical process workflows.
• You will create and maintain professional documentation, as well as integrate monitoring and logging to ensure stable platform operations.
• You will be part of a motivated team that continuously strives for improvements and evolves both individually and collectively.

Experience and Skills you will need:

• You have hands-on experience with Software Defined Networking technologies such as OVS/OVN and Calico.
• You have solid experience with Linux and Kubernetes, and keep up to date with new developments in these areas.
• You have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a structured approach to diagnosing and resolving issues.
• You have experience in programming and scripting in C/C++, Python or Bash.
• You have worked with virtualization and containerization environments and understand their practical applications.
