What you`ll do

You will join the SAP UA CSI organization that provides cloud-based solutions at SAP designed to innovate and deliver the best help experience to SAP customers (https://help.sap.com).

As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in enhancing our current cloud-based tools and solutions while helping to build the next generation of our offerings.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cloud Technologies: Work with cutting-edge cloud-native technologies such as Google Cloud and SAP Converged Cloud.
• Architecture: Develop and maintain microservice architectures, stateless process flows, and message queuing systems.
• Application Development: Develop, extend, and customize our applications to support new business cases.
• AI Integration: Contribute to the integration of AI capabilities into our products.

Your skills will include:

• Software Development: Proficiency in developing web-based applications using React or Vue, Node.js, Java, Flask, Open API, and Python.
• DevOps Practices: Implement security compliance and CI/CD pipelines (using Jenkins) to ensure seamless deployment according to SAP Cloud standards.
• Collaboration: Work cohesively with multiple teams and stakeholders across various locations, including France, Germany, Bulgaria, and North America, to drive co-innovation and continuous improvement.

What you bring

• In the first place? An open mind
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, NodeJS/React/Vue).
• Proficiency in Web design and development (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, React or Vue).
• Proficiency in working with Linux and Containerization technologies.
• Experience with state-of-the-art software engineering methodologies, such as Test-Driven Development and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience with architectures that use RAG models is a plus.
• Experience with time-series databases and log aggregation systems is a plus.
