Full-Stack Software Engineer

We are looking to hire hands-on Mid level Backend/Full-Stack Software Engineers for our retail software application development.

The successful candidates will be proficient in .NET/C#/SQL Server and will assume overall responsibility for the architecture and development of one or more product areas.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to develop retail software in product increments
• Own specific product areas, including architecture, development, testability, and deployment. You’ll be helped, but also held accountable by the rest of the team
• Conduct code reviews and adhere to coding standards and design guidelines
• Ensure that the technical “know how” within the team is shared and constantly growing
• Demonstrate the completed product increment to the product owner during the iteration reviews
• Participate in iteration retrospectives to reflect on the process and continually improve it
• Perform release and iteration planning, including sizing and estimating
• Explore new technologies, engage in technical spikes, write knowledge articles, and make technical documentation updates

Requirements

• Solid knowledge and at least 3+ years development experience in .NET, C#, and SQL Server (T-SQL)
• At least 1 year of development experience with React/Angular/Blazor
• Understanding of Agile practices and artifacts
• Ability to plan work of self &  others
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to determine and resolve root causes, experience debugging code
• Assist with support tickets, as necessary
• Any experience with message broker would be an asset
• Prior experience developing retail, ecommerce, and/or POS solutions would be an asset

Skills

• .NET, C#, SQL Server expertise, including T-SQL, execution plans, indexing, performance tuning, and query optimization
• Hands-on experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ and MassTransit
• Code Annotating, Unit and Integration testing
• Prior experience with WPF or Windows forms is an advantage
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Good command of English
