    Job Title:

    Professional Services Consultant for IT Automation


    Job Summary:

    The Professional Services Consultant works jointly with a Solutions Architect and Customer Success Director to help grow the Professional Services business in the region.

    You will act as a developer on the Resolve solution through assisting the development of solutions in accelerated incident resolution. PS Consultants leverage their in-depth knowledge and expertise of the Resolve products, to help our clients make the best use of our products.

    Responsibilities:

    • Act as an integral member of the Professional Services team, taking responsibility for developing solutions from a technical perspective.
    • Be a self-starter and pro-active member of a team
    • Ability to interpret pre-defined workflows relating to business processes
    • Build automation artefacts using re-usable building blocks (Content) and Runbooks, on time and against defined business requirements
    • Ensure all artefacts and associated assets conform to all appropriate standards
    • Adhere to agreed methodology, governance and controls.
    • Adapt and build account specific versions of the standard use cases
    • Take ownership and support the testing of account specific use cases
    • Manage any required integration of task automation from the Automation Task SMEs
    • Commission and manage acceptance into service agreed automations
    • Manage the assets within the Automation Library relating to BAUactivities
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization
    • Train and support Resolve’s indirect channel partners as directed by management.
    • Act as a product enhancement feedback loop with Product Mgmt. and Engineering.
    • Help with development of internal and customer facing documentation.
    • Ability to be a trusted advisor to customers.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience as a Developer working with System Integrator or a similar experience in Dev Ops environment
    • Working knowledge of one or more software automation and service management solutions like Remedy, BMC, CA, IBM Tivoli, IPSoft, ServiceNow, Automic, Blueprism or HP Orchestration solution
    • Experience working in an enterprise-type software consulting, implementation, and training experience a plus
    • Ability to interpret customer needs and develop strong technical solutions aligned with business value
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
    • Strong written and verbal communications
    • “Whatever it takes” attitude for customer success
    • Able to thrive in a start-up environment, self-motivated with strong selfdevelopment ability
    • Technical knowledge of software automation and/or service management framework and solid understanding of application stacks, multi-tier applications, etc.
    • Understanding of integration API’s
    • Experience and understanding of project life cycle
    • Experience of continuous improvement and Agile development methodologies
    • Experience of the service and technical requirements
    • Flexible, quick to learn
    • Methodical, attention to detail
    • Excellent analytical problem-solving skill
    • Strong knowledge of process, tools, architecture, access, settings
    • Knowledge of operating systems and administration tasks like MS Windows/Unix/Linux
    • Ability to understand and write scripting code (groovy preferred but, not essential)
    • Ability to create, modify and understand shell scripts (UNIX/Linux) and batch files (Windows)
    • Hands-on experience with one of the following databases: Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL
