Senior AI Engineer

For one of our clients, an international AI-first product company, we are hiring Senior AI Engineer to join the core team and bring innovative mission to real-world AI products.

• Relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Non-relational databases (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, ChromaDB, Couchbase)
• AI / ML / NLP libraries (Gensim, Torch, Transformers, spaCy, Autogen, etc.)
• AWS Cloud
• GenAI tools (Windsurf, Cursor, Amazon Q, Claude and other)
• Git & CI/CD

Main Responsibilities:

• ​​​​​Lead the full development cycle: design, implementation, testing, and deployment of AI products.
• Build and maintain RAG pipelines and LLM evaluation frameworks.
• Translate new AI research into production-ready solutions.
• Collaborate with researchers, product managers, and engineers to deliver features.
• Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, testable, and maintainable.
• Contribute effectively in a remote-first, agile, deep-tech team.
• Continuously develop skills with provided mentorship and resources.

​​​​​​​​​​​​Main Requirements:

• ​​​​5+ years software development, including 3+ years with Python.
• Strong experience with web backends (Django/Flask), REST APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ML systems or strong motivation to learn.
• Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Proficient in English.

Bonus Points:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with LLMs, NLP, or AI model evaluation.
• Background in production RAG systems.
• Open-source contributions, academic research, or mentoring.
