Global Product Manager – FinTech APIs

What if you could shape the APIs behind a global payments platform used by companies around the world?

We’re partnering with a leading technology company in the digital payments space, and they’re looking for a Global API Product Manager to join their core platform team. In this role, you’ll own and evolve key APIs, focusing on how external developers integrate with the platform.

You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to build scalable, well-designed APIs and elevate the developer experience across a complex, global B2B SaaS environment.

What You’ll Own:

• Own and evolve public APIs, ensuring a consistent and intuitive developer experience (DevX).
• Review and shape OpenAPI specifications with a strong focus on usability and clarity.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and designers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Define and communicate product requirements through clear documentation and presentations.
• Engage with external developers and partners to validate API designs and integration flows.
• Prioritize features based on impact, effort, and business value.
• Use data, user feedback, and market insights to inform product decisions.
• Keep stakeholders aligned through regular updates and clear communication.

Main Requirements:

• Experience as a developer working with APIs and integrations.
• Strong understanding of API design principles and OpenAPI specifications.
• Background in enterprise B2B SaaS platforms.
• Ability to simplify complex problems and design scalable, reusable solutions.
• Comfortable working in a global, distributed environment.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive delivery end-to-end.
• Bachelor’s degree in Product Management or similar field.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in payments, fintech, IoT, or large-scale platforms.
• Exposure to MDM platforms or complex system integrations.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and align multiple stakeholders.
