As a core member engineer of the Redis AI API team , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Redis by integrating AI capabilities into our cloud services. You’ll be involved in the entire development process, from initial research and design to implementation and deployment in production.

What you’ll do:

Design and Develop a new set of cloud services. Lead the design and development of AI-driven features, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Drive Innovation. Experiment with cutting-edge AI technologies and frameworks, and contribute to Redis’ evolution in the AI space.

Collaborate across teams. Work closely with the broader engineer team, Support, DevOps, leading the fastest NoSQL databases in the world

What will you need to have?

– 6+ years developing backend applications

– Hands-on experience building, testing, deploying, and monitoring services in production

– Experience with databases

– Experience with CI/CD and deployment tooling (e.g.: Github actions, Argo CD, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc)

– Experience delivering high-quality software at scale in Java, Kotlin, Python, Golang, or other languages

– Self-directed, ambitious, and eager to learn new skills and technologies

– Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Field

Extra great if you have:

– Understanding of AI/ML concepts, including experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.

– Active in the AI open-source community

– Experience with Redis

– Experience architecting cloud-native applications
