We are looking for a Tech-Agnostic Backend Team Lead to join a high-performing Platform & Payments team. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys writing production-ready backend code while ensuring team alignment, task allocation, and technical quality across multiple technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Write high-quality backend code across Java, .NET, or other technologies
• Contribute to architectural design and technical decisions
• Own task breakdown, allocation, and tracking
• Act as a code quality gate for the team
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of the solution
• Support team alignment and coordination
• Not responsible for overall team strategy, promotion decisions, or final product sign-off.

Requirements

• ~10 years of experience in software development (Java or .NET)
• Strong object-oriented design and SQL skills
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka
• Experience with multi-threaded applications and microservices
• Very good understanding of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols
• Previous Team Lead experience is a plus
• Self-motivated, take-charge personality
