About the Company

Our client is a boutique gaming startup with a team of approximately 30 people, focused on developing casino games and a custom-built platform capable of supporting a wide variety of game types. The company combines startup agility with strong industry expertise and has already launched multiple successful products, with many more in active development.

What You’ll Be Working On

You will help shape the backend of an innovative gaming ecosystem, building robust game servers and services that support real-time gameplay and future scalability. The role offers hands-on involvement in platform architecture and game logic, with a strong focus on quality, security, and performance.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance backend game services using .NET and C#.
• Design and implement authoritative game servers for online gameplay.
• Contribute to microservice-based architectures and distributed systems.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product stakeholders.
• Write clean, testable code supported by automated testing.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and best practices.

Core Requirements

• Extensive experience with C# and .NET technologies.
• Experience with server-side game logic or authoritative backend systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and transactional workflows.
• Proven practice in unit and integration testing.
• Experience with SignalR or comparable communication frameworks.
• Comfortable working with Git-based version control systems.

Additional Advantages

• Experience with Phaser / PixiJS or similar front-end game frameworks.
• Prior exposure to iGaming or financial platforms.
• Background in developing turn-based or card-style games.
