About the Company

An international technology consultancy delivering enterprise digital platform solutions is growing its engineering team in Sofia and looking for a Lead Front-End Developer with strong React expertise.

The company partners with global brands on large-scale web projects, focusing on modern architectures, scalability, and high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend development activities across multiple projects and teams
• Architect and develop scalable React-based applications
• Define and maintain frontend engineering standards and best practices
• Collaborate closely with Product, Backend, QA, and Design teams
• Participate in technical planning, estimations, and solution architecture discussions
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high code quality across the team
• Mentor developers and support their technical growth
• Identify performance improvements and architectural optimizations
• Take ownership of frontend delivery throughout the full development lifecycle

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js in production environments
• Previous experience in a Lead or Senior Frontend role
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with TailwindCSS or similar modern styling frameworks
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and performance optimization
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development processes
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring team members
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js, Remix, or similar React frameworks
• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of testing tools such as Jest, Playwright, or Mocha
• Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client
• Familiarity with REST APIs and end-to-end testing practices
