About the Company

The Role

We are looking for a Database Developer to work with PostgreSQL and Java in a fast-growing online games environment. You will develop, maintain, and optimize database systems, contribute to backend services, and collaborate on microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain data warehouse systems, ensuring performance and reliability

Develop SQL queries, views, and stored procedures (ANSI SQL / PL/pgSQL)

Troubleshoot database issues and ensure data integrity

Collaborate with developers to optimize database interactions and establish best practices

Write clean, testable Java code, perform code reviews, and follow security principles

Contribute to architecture, microservices design, and process improvements

Gather requirements for new database features and gaming platform modules

Requirements

• 3+ years of Java & Spring development (2+ years preferred)
• 3+ years with PostgreSQL and large/complex databases
• Strong SQL/PLpgSQL, relational modeling, OLTP/OLAP design
• Experience with object-oriented design, multithreading, microservices
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP protocols
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and unit testing
