Our client, a top iGaming company, is seeking a Database Developer to help maintain and scale their gaming platform’s database systems. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working on high-volume, low-latency data access and ensuring reliable, secure database operations.

Your key responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases and data warehouse systems
• Develop complex queries, views, and stored procedures (PL/pgSQL & ANSI SQL)
• Collaborate with backend developers to enhance application-database interactions
• Contribute to architecture discussions, microservices design, and process improvements
• Implement unit tests, perform code reviews, and ensure secure coding standards
• Diagnose and resolve database performance and integrity issues

Required Experience:

• 3+ years in Java & Spring development
• 3+ years with PostgreSQL or other complex databases
• Strong SQL / PL/pgSQL, relational modeling, OLTP/OLAP experience
• Multi-threading, microservices, and object-oriented design
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols
• Secure coding practices and unit testing
