Backend Engineer (Java, Spring Boot) – Product Company

We are currently partnering with a product company building modern software platforms and are looking to expand their backend team.

They are seeking a Backend Engineer who will work on scalable services, system integrations, and core backend functionality.

This role is suitable for engineers who enjoy building reliable systems and working across the full backend development lifecycle.

What you will be doing:

Design and develop backend services using Kotlin and Java

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs
• Work with relational and non-relational databases
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers
• Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability
• Participate in technical discussions and architecture improvements

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Experience with Java
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security
• Experience building REST APIs
• Experience with databases such as MySQL and Redis
• Experience with Git
• Experience with Maven or Gradle
