Senior Backend Software Engineer (Java)

• Backend: Java 21+, Spring Boot & Spring Framework, Hibernate, Gradle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS, GCP, Docker
• Frontend: Angular 18+, React, JS, TS, Angular Material, CSS/SASS/LESS, HTML, Flexbox

What You’ll Do

As part of our team, you will:

• Build high-performance, scalable, and maintainable backend systems
• Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of software solutions
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party services
• Work on complex engineering challenges, delivering efficient and secure backend code
• Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to ensure seamless delivery and performance
• Take end-to-end ownership of your work, from concept to production
• Participate in agile (and occasionally distributed) work processes

Requirements  

• 5+ years of experience developing server-side applications
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
• Very good command of English
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems based on data and sound reasoning
• A proactive mindset with a focus on optimization and continuous improvement
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a strong problem-solving attitude

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional backend frameworks or programming languages
• Familiarity with frontend development (Angular 2+ is a plus)
• Experience with containers and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
